Datamaran is opening multiple internships  in our Leeuwarden and Valencia hubs, and you can join  these opportunities while developing a project with real impact.
 Expect hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology and a front-row seat to the world of sustainability frameworks and reporting. If you love learning fast and contributing from day one, you'll fit right in.

What will your internship look like?
Datamaran brings fresh perspectives into the team by running a structured internship programs in our Leeuwarden and Valencia hubs. With us, you have a chance to grow inside an international, tech-driven environment.
These internships are biannual (starting on February or September), usually run for 3+ months, and we expect weekly office presence (hybrid is possible). Your schedule can be 24 to 40 hours per week, ideally spread across the five weekdays.
The internship starts with orientation and project kickoff, and you'll work th weekly check-ins, ending with the presentation of your capstone project, all in a 20-week journey packed with experience and mentorship.
  • In Leeuwarden, the program is for 3rd or final-year students and runs twice a year in collaboration with Campus Fryslan (separate from the Living Lab).
  • In Valencia, it also runs twice a year and targets 4th-year engineering or Master students, partnering with top universities like UPV, UV, UOV and (as an additional option) CentraleSupélec.

Your profile

  • Interest in corporate sustainability, tech and ESG.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar; familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to digest and summarise complex information
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a passion for sustainability and technology
