Regulatory Data Entry Associate (Fixed-term position)

Your mission

You’ll play a key role in keeping Datamaran’s regulatory intelligence accurate, relevant, and trusted by global clients. Working closely with legal and ESG experts, you’ll research sustainability-related regulations worldwide, analyse them with the support of AI, and translate complex regulatory information into structured, high-quality data.

This role is ideal if you enjoy research, have a sharp eye for detail, and want hands-on exposure to how law, ESG risk analysis, materiality, and technology come together in a real-world product. You’ll be trusted to work independently, while being fully supported by an international, collaborative team.

What you’ll do:
  • Research ESG-related regulatory initiatives, including national and international laws, EU Directives, reporting frameworks, guidelines, and industry standards
  • Carry out ad-hoc research in response to client needs or emerging regulatory trends
  • Deep-dive into specific jurisdictions, ESG topics, or sectors to expand and improve database coverage
  • Analyse regulations using AI-supported tools and enter them accurately into Datamaran’s platform
  • Perform quality checks as part of the team workflow to ensure consistency and data integrity
  • Support data quality and improvement projects, as well as other ad-hoc team requests

Your profile

You’re curious, detail-oriented, and motivated by the idea of working at the intersection of regulation, sustainability, and technology. You’re comfortable working with data and written content, and you take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

You bring:
  • Strong research and data analysis skills
  • Advanced written English and the ability to summarise complex information clearly
  • A collaborative mindset and good communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • A flexible, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Solid working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (including basic formulas, calculations, and charts)
Nice to have (but not required):
  • Experience in ESG, sustainability reporting, or regulatory analysis
  • Familiarity with legal databases
  • Understanding of hard law vs. soft norms
  • Exposure to Datamaran products or similar regulatory / risk intelligence tools
